InfoPats deplois SQL database systems - an efficient and secure industrie standard for years. The user chooses between three operating modes:

• In local mode InfoPats uses files as databases. No administration needed. InfoPats includes backup and restore operations for local bases.
• In client-server mode more than one user can access the bases at the same time within a computer network. InfoPats has been tested in LAN (local area network) configuration as well as in  VPN - "virtual private network" .
• In "synchronisation" mode the user chooses one of the modes above and InfoPats synchronizes local and server databases regulary. Using a laptop you can access your patient's data during work from a server with your collaborators and also consult your data at home.
